From the moment I arrived ready to capture the 5th annual Michigan Miss Amazing Amplify Event, the energy in the room was electric—a place filled with joy, confidence, and the undeniable power of self-love. It was a day dedicated to celebrating the unique abilities of remarkable women and girls with disabilities, and I left feeling more inspired than ever.
Michigan Miss Amazing is a movement. It’s about giving these extraordinary individuals a platform to shine, to showcase their talents, and to embrace their strengths. Each participant brought her own magic to the stage, proving that disabilities do not define them—their abilities do. Watching them walk with pride, share their stories, and radiate confidence was nothing short of breathtaking. Throughout the day, I saw young girls and women stepping into their power, supported by a community that truly believes in them. The event fostered an atmosphere of encouragement, where every achievement was met with applause and every participant was made to feel like the queen she is.
